You are talking mega bucks. Go for a large tourer if only for 6 months.
2 weeks rent = cost of a decent 2nd hand one.
Plus static is horrendously expensive to transport and lift off the lorry -you’d be hiring the lorry and crane twice for delivery and uplift.
Try advertising/looking on your local freecycle or freegle website.
Or gumtree – but be careful on gumtree there’s a lot of crooks on there.
Look in your local paper. You would really be much better off buying a mobile, towable caravan and the reselling it at the end of the rebuild.
See if you can come to some sort of arrangement with the vendor for getting it towed to your home.
Or maybe you know someone who could tow it for you.
In the long run it will be far less expensive than renting – especially if your building takes longer than planned – and these things often do.
you don’t want a static one ..a larger mobile one is good ..have you got access to get the lorry round the back of your house ? you cant have it in front of house the council wont let you ..it does not want to be anywhere near the house ..scaffold ..access .skips etc
